"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Welp. It's been awhile, DA. I see things haven't changed around here much. It's been a season or two and here I am, back.
I was gone due to uhh... geez I'm been trying to put it into good terms for awhile but I guess the only thing that's coming to me is "cowardice". No, I wasn't afraid of y'all-- ooh scary followers ooh! I had a commission from Sakuracon that I hadn't finished. It was a digital one and apparently the commissioner and I mutually lost each other's contact info, so I had no real pressure to do it after all-- except guilt. Which is a terrible thing for me. Problem two with the commission was that I couldn't for the life of me figure out how it was supposed to be composed. I got afraid to try it after a point, it was weird. Call me stupid, but it was really hard to figure out-- until it hit me all at once of course, which is how these kinda things typically go down.
So I finished it just last night. It'll be the first thing I put up in half a year.
Meanwhile, in the past six months, I got terribly addicted to Homestuck. I'm not so much into Kingdom Hearts right now, as there haven't been any game releases that excite me yet. Homestuck though, shit. It's terrible and wonderful. I wonder how big the following is on here, come to think of it... I've gotten better at bodies and faces in the past coupla months too; it's pretty exciting.
"Be happy with your work, but never satisfied." I think is how it goes. My drumline instructors say that from time to time and I think it rings true for just about everything art-wise.
I also very much got addicted to Tumblr. No regrets there: it's been really fun.
